I am glad to inform you that Department of Community Medicine, Subharti Medical College; Meerut is organizing 14th Annual Conference of UP & UK Chapter of IAPSM between 14th – 15th of October 2011. The main theme of the conference is “Role of AYUSH in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention; Public Health Prospective” The conference will also focus on topics like, Maternal and child health, Nutritional Deficiencies disorders, Under nutrition and Over nutrition, Primary Health Care, NRHM, Recent strategies on managements of vector borne diseases, HIV/AIDS, Prevention and control of communicable diseases, Rabies prevention and control etc. The conference aims at creating genuine interest (among delegates) about indigenous systems of health care like Yoga & Ayurveda and generating innovative ideas regarding integration of these systems in public health care at various levels. The conference will bring together the best minds who have generated evidence in AYUSH as well as many of the known figures in public health.
