On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it gives me immense pleasure to invite you to \u201cXVII Annual Conference of Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine- UP & UK Chapter\u201d<\/strong>, being organized by the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, S. N. Medical College, Agra,<\/strong> Uttar Pradesh on November 7th<\/sup>&8th<\/sup>, 2014. <\/strong>The conference will be preceded by CME on 6th<\/sup> November 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n

The conference will offer a great opportunity to discuss important public health issues, exchange knowledge, share ideas, meet the eminent faculties, scholars and public health specialists of national and international repute on a common platform. The theme for the conference is \u201cNewborn Survival: Challenges and Strategies<\/strong>\u201d. The conference will alsoemphasize on maternal & child health, vector borne diseases, N.C.Ds. and other relevant public health concerns.<\/span><\/p>\n

For promoting operational research<\/strong> in the field of neonatal survival, UNICEF has agreed to assist up to INR 1, 00,000\/- in selected thrust areas. The best tenOperational Research Projects from young faculty and residents, through their respective Department of Community Medicine, will be granted the assistance.<\/span><\/p>\n
